Saturday morning outlook

Published by at 6:32 pm under Surf reports

Outlook for Saturday morning in the Sydney region is not spectacularly good. The south to south east winds that worked over surfing conditions so thoroughly on Friday afternoon, should have settled a little overnight. However, we’re still facing average speeds of around 20 kts, so the ocean will still be very choppy and rough even in the corners. Friday night saw the swell off Sydney running in the 3-6 metre range at about 9 seconds apart. Semi-exposed corners along the northern beaches could have some messy and sizable waves, but well protected corners such as Collaroy and Palm Beach, may still be too small for intermediate and experienced surfers to bother. See you around 730 on 702 with the latest surf news!
