Pretty little at Dee Why

dy point

Hello Friends,

Wandered down to look at DY this morning and found small, not very crowded and glassy conditions. The problem is that you have to wait a fairly long time between rideable sets. And then they’re only about waist high, weak and frequently closing out shortly after take-off.

Outlook for the day ahead is for there to be not much change to the waves. And it looks like more of the same for the next week. There are some interesting looking low pressure systems between Australia and Africa, but it looks like the high over the continent will keep them too far south to send us any energy on the east coast. If you could be anywhere in Oz today, I reckon the spot would be south west WA. Looks like a nice combo of swell and offshores for our friends out that way.

Have yourself a top old day!
