20 April, into the flatness

Published by at 8:49 am under Surf reports

 Hello Friends,

Good day for east coast surfers to clean the old wax off boards, go to work, see friends during morning hours, etc. Very small to nearly flat at Dee Why. Little SSE swell is just barely flickering on the rocks at the point and lumping softly over at kiddies. Didn’t see anyone catch a wave, but my vantage point doesn’t take in the whole sweep of the beach, so there may have been some knee high things flipping over up toward No Man’s.

Outlook for the remainder of the work week and the weekend on the east coast is pretty dismal. Looks good for kayaking I guess. The models are currently showing a little something forming up toward the middle of next week. At this stage it doesn’t look too astounding, maybe waist to chest high plus SE windswell. But we shall see…

In the meantime, have yourself a top old day!
