 very small… again…

Hello Friends

What do you call a surf report when there’s no surf? Well, whatever it is, that’s what I’ve got for you. Dee Why looks nice and smooth but too small for anything you could carry to the water by yourself. There was a break in the showers when I checked, but it might just as well have been sheeting down.

As I write this, the MHL buoys up and down the east coast are all showing around a metre of swell. Periods range from 5-8 seconds, so there’s just not much energy around at the moment.

The outlook for the next few days is for s-sw winds in the 15-20 kt range across the Sydney region. The forecast models are showing average wave heights pushing up into the surfable range tomorrow morning, but the wind will be with ’em. Weds could be similar and then it looks as though we’re back to the small to flat stuff for awhile.

Go well with your day!
