Mon, 4 June 2007 surf looks dismal

Hello Friends,

Gotta love a computer wrestling match first thing in the morning. My report should have been up a couple hours ago… oh well. Where Dee Why is concerned, it hardly matters. The weekend’s little pulse of south swell has faded away and as predicted by the models, we’re back to short period 1 metre SE windswell. A couple of bods were in the water at Dee Why when I took the photo, but it was a very long wait before one of them could get a little something right next to the rocks.

Outlook for the next couple days is shaping up to be pretty dull surfwise for Sydneysiders. The models have been showing a brief, long-period pulse for later in the week, but exactly when it’s due, and how long it’ll last, has been changing daily. This morning, the call seems to be for the good stuff to turn up on Thursday, but according to the Bureau, it’ll be accompanied by SW-SE winds of 20-25 kts…

Have yourself a top old day!
