Dee Why 7 out of 10 …at least

Dee Why point

Hello Friends,

Waves and more waves. The Bureau is calling for a few showers today and increasing SE wind, but as I write this, there are clean head high plus sets at Dee Why. Swell is out of the se at 2-4 metres at sea and the period’s around 9 sec on average. This combo should yield fun size waves all up and down the east coast.

Wind is light right now and the tide will be high shortly.

And I think there’s a bit more in the tank for us too. Check this marine forecast from the Bureau:

A trough is along the northern New South Wales coast and a strong High to the east of Tasmania. A low is expected to develop off the Mid North Coast or Hunter Friday night/early Saturday. The position of the low Saturday morning is currently estimated to be approximately 150 nm to the east of Seal Rocks. This low should move away to the northeast Sunday. On Monday a trough off the northern half of the New South Wales coast will deepen again and another Low is likely to form east of the Mid North Coast or Hunter.

Go well with your day!
