Blown out anywhere there are waves…

Published by at 11:08 am under Surf reports

Hello Friends,

Whoops! One of those mornings when I charge out of the gate and completely forget that I haven’t filed! Can’t break the string, so here’s the latest.

At 0900 when I grabbed the pic, it was still relatively glassy, if lumpy and people were in the water getting a few at DY point. But since then the has kicked in pretty hard. It’s 20-30 kts along the more exposed bits of coast and the short period SSE windswell is not being improved.

The outlook for the next day or so is more S-SW wind, but not as strong as today. We should have some energy around too, although for the next 24 hours it looks like being the current messy, windswell. In two to three days the models are showing a solid looking 12 sec of SE swell, particularly around Thursday for the Sydney region.

Have yourself a top day and go well!

Around 0900, just before it blew out at Dee Why point
