Little ones coming into Dee Why point.

Hello Friends,

What a magnificent morning out there. And little waves too for the Sydney region. Winds are currently light but are due to swing to the NW and get into the 15-20 kt range. As the day goes along, they are due to go more to the W. The swell, against the predictions, hasn’t dropped much yet. It’s still about 2 metres on average from the east, but the good news is that the average period is still around the 10 second mark. At Dee Why, which is not the optimal spot for the swell direction, it’s chest to head high and okay on the consistency front. If you got waves yesterday, go back there today would be my advice.

The models are still showing things declining to flatness over the next day and for it to be pretty tiny from Wednesday through the weekend. But there is some variation in the call between them. One is showing flatness continuing into Monday, while another is calling for a south pulse to kick in from late Sunday.

Get out there and have yourself some fun, and go well with your day!
