Breezy and offshore with it
little, tiny wavelets at Dee Why beach around 0715
Hello Friends,
Breezy this morning and expected to become considerably more so this afternoon as the N-NW wind pushes up into the 20-25 kt range across the Sydney region. Interestingly, it isn’t utterly flat at Dee Why. Swell is east, only about 7 seconds apart and a metre on average out at sea. That’s making for the occasional waist high set but it has to be said that the waits are considerable.
Thanks to an intense low off to the sw of Tasmania, the wind will be hitting 20-30 kts tonight as a SW change comes through. Saturday morning should see the wind beginning to ease off for the day. I don’t think it’s very likely that we’ll have much of anything in the way of waves along the east coast on Saturday.
Hope your day rolls along well and a few waves come your way!
