Cool & breezy morning in Sydney

Published by at 8:40 am under Surf reports

Hello Friends,

There’s a little hint of south swell this morning, but it’s not big and judging from the buoys down the coast from Sydney, it probably won’t improve too much either. The average period in the Sydney region is around the 8 second mark and the average height at sea is around the  2 metre mark. What this means at Dee Why is the odd chest high bomb set (but mostly it’s waist high). The point is sort of rideable if you have a mal or a spare airplane wing.

Wind is SW now, and is due to swing around to the NE at 10-15kts this afternoon.

Stay happy and you’ll be perfectly fine…
