Windy & tiny again…
Hello Friends,
The quick version: knee to waist high east dribble and 20-30 kts of SE wind under grey skies. Yum.
The longer story: at midnight on Saturday, a little east swell arrived in Sydney. It was still averaging 10 sec apart when it got light enough to surf Sunday morning. But, from around midday, the energy started gradually to fade away. This morning it’s averaging around 7 seconds apart and even though it’s roughly the same size at sea as yesterday, that short period is killing it. You’d be doing well to find anything in the chest high range, when that was the average at exposed spots yesterday.
Ah well. The week ahead is still looking hopeful… I’ll try to jump back later for some thoughts on that front…
go well!
