Hello Friends,

Breezy under grey skies this morning in Sydney. Wind is out of the SSW at 12-15 kts as of 0800, but the Bureau says it’ll accelerate to 25-33 kts before settling back to 20-30 kts from the S-SE. Overnight the wind change pushed up some south windswell. It’s around the 3 metre mark out at sea but they’re only 8 seconds apart.

There was one person at the point and a few others up the beach at Dee Why when I clambered up to grab a picture or two. The quality was less than inspiring, but you get that when the period drops below the 10 sec mark. Waves looked kind of weak and floppy.

Outlook is for conditions to remain around the same over the next  24-48 hours. The wind is set to gradually decrease and the swell should stay at roughly the same settings as now. From Weds on, it looks like another spell of weak and tiny waves for the Sydney region. Oh well, what can ya do? It is getting into summer after all.

Hope your day is a good one!
