Hello Friends,

Interesting. According to the MHL buoy off Sydney, the dominant swell direction has gone from close to east around to near south. At the same time the period has increased slightly and is averaging 10 sec. Height at sea is on the 2 metre mark. When you put that all together, you get some fun looking chest to shoulder high plus sets rolling into Dee Why.

Skies are starting out grey and murky again, but it should burn off and be a toasty 29 along the coast this afternoon. The wind forecast is a standard-issue summery 15-20 kts of NE’r.

Looking ahead, it would seem that this could be the last of the swell for the next week or so. All the models are pointing toward a period of smallness, but with luck, not utter flatness.

Have yourself a top old day and go well with your plans!
