Hello Friends,

Light ENE winds to start with, but the ocean looks pretty messy. There’s a reasonable amount of  east swell around too, but quality will probably be an issue. The MHL buoy is currently recording 2 metres at  10 seconds, but the conditions along the Collaroy-Narrabeen stretch weren’t too dazzling. Sets are into the shoulder to head high range, however the banks are pretty ordinary and therefore just about everything is shutting down. The situation is not much more interesting around at Dee Why either. Again, junkiness is the word for the day. A few bods in, but if you had to miss out today, I wouldn’t be feeling too hard done by.

Outlook for today weatherwise in Sydney is for occasional heavy showers and strengthening ENE winds along the beaches.

Tomorrow the wind dial is going up to 20-30 kts, there are supposed to be more showers and the windswell should build up a little more…
