Little waves about as the southerly kicks in

0715: Little ones in the corner at Dee Why…

Hello Friends,

Well, it’s dropped again. But there were a few folks in the water down at Dee Why catching the odd little waist high wave. Surface conditions in the corner were pretty clean too, even though the southerly is anywhere between 15 and 30 kts along the Sydney coast. Swell direction is bouncing around a little but by the time we get to dusk, it will be steadily SE. And, as it comes around to match up with the wind direction, we should see bigger sets. Along with this, the cloud is set to increase and the Bureau says we should start seeing a few showers.

Outlook for tomorrow is more cloudiness, the odd shower and southerlies. In fact, from the look of the forecast models, we’re in for south swell for the next four days or so. With luck, the wind won’t get too out of hand and we should be able to jag a few in our south corners.

Have yourself a great Wednesday and may the apology being made this morning by Mr Rudd in Parliament be a truly significant step forward. The wait for that little word has been a long one…
