Windy and tiny

Published by at 7:07 am under Surf reports

Hello Friends,

The most obvious feature of this morning’s weather are those gusty SW winds. They’re pushing along at 20-30kts along the Sydney region’s coastline. It’s due to back off as the day goes along. It’s knocked what little swell we had yesterday on the head. There are only tiny little short period wind wavelets getting into the beach at Dee Why and my guess is that will apply pretty much everywhere else.  As the wind eases later, the swell should start to swing back around to the SE according to the Bureau. The forecast models are not looking too flash for our part of the world though. The main juice seems set to be heading away from most of NSW’s coast, so I’d be surprised if the Goat gets too optimistic about the weekend’s prospects…

Another day for work and landlubber occupations I’d say.

Go well with your day!
