Yet another day with waves!

The point...

Hello Friends,

Looks like we have some waves for the weekend warriors this morning. Nothing too amazing, but you should have a reasonable number of options because the little 1.5 metre swell is out of the SE and should therefore be working into many Sydney region beaches. More exposed spots should see the odd shoulder high set, although for the most part you’ll be catching stuff¬† more in the waist high range.¬† The average period is around about the 8 second mark. That’s down a bit from yesterday’s 9 sec peak. But we’ve been bumping around in the 7-9 sec range for days now.

From the look of the forecast models, things should bump along like this through the weekend. And the good news is that the wind won’t be a huge deal. The forecast for today is SW-S 13-18 kts and tomorrow it’s set to be NW-SW 5-15kts in the a.m., swinging N-NE in the arvo.

It’s about time for me to knock out another surfcast I’d say, so let’s see if I can get something organised later… the general outlook is about the same through Monday with a peak on Tuesday and a slow fade after that.

Get out there if you can and enjoy!
