Waves in Sydney
Hello Friends,
Huey seems to have bumped the power setting up for Sydneysiders this morning. Overnight the period’s jumped from 6 to 9 seconds and average swell height at sea has crept up a touch to around the two metre mark. Swell direction has moved too and at last report from the MHL buoy was sitting on SSE. As of mid-morning, the predicted winds had not yet arrived, but the Bureau advises that it could be 25-35 kts from the WNW by close of play this afternoon. And tomorrow morning it could be into the 40 kt range from the WSW. So, heaps of wind on the cards.
I’d say the plan is to get out there ahead of that wind…
Go well!
