Nice east swell. Before I got in for some of it, I shot these 83 pics (mainly of Queenscliff).

Went back for some more shooting at about noon. This time I set up in front of the Dee Why SLSC. After awhile, I moved a little south to a spot on the steps so that I could get a bit better angle on the lefts. Surf conditions weren’t amazing, but people were having fun – and I always love shooting.

Went shooting for half an hour or so at about the pole in No Man’s. I was using my vintage Century Precision Optics 650mm lens and Nikon D70. Follow the link below to check out all the pics.

After shooting at Curly, I ducked back over the hill to see what I could find at Dee Why. Wave quality was not as good, but there were some nice ones coming in at the point (the beachy was shutting down a fair amount) These images can be enlarged quite a bit, so you can crop in on the subject and still get something good enough to use for a large print. That’s because they were shot with Nikon’s top of the range D3 professional camera and the equally top of the range 200-400mm zoom.
